I give two stars because the staff is friendly and the pitches are large and shady.
Besides that it’s very noisy, even though there is a quiet time after 23.00 there is a disco lasting till 12. Every day so far except Monday.
There is no plastic cover on the toilets, no hot water in the evening, the internet is really bad. The lake is not good for swimming and the mosquitoes are a real thing (The last two are not their fault but they contribute for the experience) The price is a way too high for what they offer.
Quite expensive and very cosy. They've fitted as many pitches as possible onto this site and filled them up.
Primarily busy with Italian guests who seemed to be having a great time in large groups. Everyone was friendly but it wasn't the atmosphere we've found on other campsites
Difficult to reach (dirt road). Hot water issues. Noise - discos every other night, in general noisy guests. Toilets without toilet seats. Swimming pool with cap.
Nice camping with friendly people, mostly Italian. The road that leads to the camping is quite ‘rustic’ and dusty. Supermarket is a 5 min drive or a 20 min walk.
The Restaurant serves tasty pizza as a default, but they serve other dishes too, which are tasty. The food is very reasonably priced, the campsite is quite pricey.
The supervised swimming pool is pleasant, but closes between 13:00-15:00. That’s also the time you can’t drive on the campsite, which can be a downside if you want to pay a visit to a city like Milan or Varese.
At night the music is turned up and you best join in on the fun in the arena where young and old come together to enjoy various performances. Sure, Italians can get a bit loud sometimes, but that also means you don’t have to walk on tiptoe yourself.
The lake was quite dry due to little rainfall, so swimming wasn’t really an option, but on the other side of the lake there are little pebble beaches which are enjoyable.
Very large, bad internet, extremely noisy, lots of kids roaming around till late at night, all the spaces were gravely and had harsh lamps at night.
Was a challenge to find any place suitable for a tent. Showers had an odd card system for hot water.
As I arrived late, the staff member at the front gate gave me the wrong information about the prices.
It has all the basics, but I wouldn't return.
Expensive campsite, noisy music production. Tent site OK. Lake dirty, not for swimming. Sanitary facilities not nice, not clean enough. No rubbish bins in the campsite. Most taps marked "undrinkable water" - why on earth. 1 star for friendly and helpful crew.
The campsite itself was ok, nothing bad or anything. Maybe a little loud at night (disco music etc.).
But the lake was way to hot and there were so many mosqitos, that we could not enjoy the stay. Also quite expensive. There were cameras at the sanitery utilities, kinda creepy.
We were here in july, in colder times it shoud be nicer
We visited this campsite for three nights. The photos of it are amazing and unfortunately the reality does not quite match up. I had read about a lot of campsites in Italy where they 'just want to make money out of you' and I feel this is …
